Individual counseling is beneficial in helping to gain a better understanding of oneself, to clarify goals, to identify and change patterns of relating to help create mutually supportive relationships, to enhance communication skills, to develop healthy coping skills, to improve self esteem and confidence, to develop a more assertive presence, to work through trauma, to help understand and manage strong emotional responses, and to address the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health diagnoses.

Depending on the seriousness of the presenting issues or concerns, Crystal will work with you to decide whether a short term counseling relationship (six to eight sessions) or a longer commitment to therapy will be more helpful for you and your unique situation.
